Heater to regulate the temperature of the water in the nutrient solution tank. It is submersible, it can be both horizontal and vertical.
We use the heater because a supply of cold water can cause stress to the plant, slowing down its metabolism. And if the water is warmer than what it touches, it could cause slow growth and a lack of oxygen, and could even lead to infection by pathogens.
The ideal temperature ranges between 18 and 24 ºC.
For good operation and durability of the heater, disconnect it for 15 minutes before changing the nutrient solution.
