The water heater is a tool that allows you to optimize the irrigation water tanks with the appropriate temperature to water the plants.
In winter and especially in cold areas, the water in the tank can reach extremely cold temperatures for plants. When we water with this cold water, we cause great stress to the plant, slowing down its metabolism.
What temperature should we have the water heater at?
The ideal temperature in a tank should be between 18 and 24 ºC. A lower temperature would cause stagnation and slow growth and a higher temperature than recommended would cause problems of lack of oxygen in the nutrient solution and, in extreme cases, infection by pathogens.
Observation on the use of the water heater
Disconnect the heater 15 minutes before changing the nutrient solution for greater equipment longevity.
